Spooky season is temporary — quality fencing isn’t.

26.10.30 万圣节铁围栏

On October 31st every year, the yard is covered with fake cobwebs, decorated with pumpkin lanterns, and the fence is wrapped with orange string lights. By the next morning, the decorations are removed, the excitement fades away, and what remains is the fence itself – still standing there, rain or shine, year after year.

Decorations can be cheap and disposable. But the fence cannot.

This article is all about what separates a steel or aluminum fence that lasts for years from one that doesn’t – from the raw materials arriving in factory to the finished fences leaving.

Firstly, is it about the raw material.

Take steel tube as an example. The zinc coating thickness, the carbon , and the impurity control directly determine whether the welding goes smoothly, whether the galvanization takes properly, and whether the paint bonds actually. Cheap materials means more spatter and pores during welding, uneven zinc coverage and finish that looks fine only in first 2 years.

We do not overlook this step. Steel comes in at certified grades, and each batch comes with mill certificates. The same goes for aluminum profiles.

Secondly, it is about the welding.

The first thing to fail on a fence is always the welding points.

Incomplete welding, pores, and shallow fusion – NONE OF THEM show up after painting. It’s not until the first winter passes that rust begins to appear around the welds, and the paint starts to blister and peel off. Our approach is not complicated, but every step is not to be compromised.

Thirdly, it is about powder coating.

Many people think that spray painting is just “spray some color on”. In fact, the difference between one coat of paint and two coats is how they look after three or five years.

First coat: Expoxy Primer Powder coating

In this step, the coating cover all welds and cut edges to achieve long-term anti-corrosion and anti-impact performance.

Second coat: AkzoNobel Polyester Finish Powder coating

In this step, it realize exceptional weather resistance and surface self-cleaning performance, rain wash or spray-wash can resume bright and clean surface.

The decorations are seasonal, while the fences are long-lasting. The pumpkin lanterns and the fake cobwebs will all be removed on November 1st. But the fences have to stand for many years to come. So the logic behind making the fences is quite simple: the raw materials are not compromised, the welding is not makeshift, and the paint application is not cut corners. Because Halloween lasts only one night, but the fences need to stand in the yard for a long time.

What is galvanized steel railing?

Galvanized steel railing is the working-class hero of the railing world. They are unassuming and do not shine like polished stainless steel. But they stand there year after year, weathering rain, snow, salt and scrapes – without asking for anything in return.
